The new Seca Model 285 wireless measuring station combines personal weighing, height measuring and BMI (Body Mass Index) calculation in a single step. The 285 has two displays, one on the headpiece for reading height and a multi-function touch display at the side showing height, weight and automatically calculated BMI. The scale capacity is a huge 300kg with fine 50g graduations up to the first 150kg, then in 100g graduations. With precise head and foot positioners, height can be measured from 30 to 220cm with graduations of 1mm. At the press of a key on the touch display, measurements can be sent to printer or PC.
