The Seca 240 is a mechanical, high-precision measuring rod which makes measuring easy and precise. With a clearly visible marking and large display window, it guarantees clear readings, free from parallax. The result remains the same even if read from various angles. The simple and stable movement of the rod, which is supported by two bearings, guarantees a precision of +/- 2mm. Even when subjected to increased pressure the measuring slide does not flex upwards. Slide resistance can be adjusted variably thus preventing the measuring slide from slipping. The large head piece (diameter 160mm) and heel positioner ensure exact positioning of the patient.
